Near the Burmese border in western Thailand, these charming women and there sons were very kind in allowing me to photograph them. I believe that they are Karen refugees, but may also be displaced Burmese. They spoke little Thai, and I speak no Karen or Burmese, but our meeting was warm and friendly.
